PASTOR LORENZO E. HENRY
About The Pastor
Pastor Henry is a native of Chicago, Illinois where he attended Mary Magdalene Missionary Baptist Church under Dr. L.R. Henry. He enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1983 and has served in several military chapels throughout his career. In 1998 he joined City of Refuge Christian Church under Dr. Wayne Anderson where he recognized the call to ministry. He has participated in Prison Outreach ministry since 2001 beginning in Hawaii, Dallas and now in Collin County. He is currently serves as a Volunteer Chaplain with Collin County Detention Center teaching a faith-based anger management course.
Pastor Henry was called to the Pastoral in March 2014 and has been moving forward answering the call of the LORD on his life. He is the Founder of Kingdom Application Ministries which is the manifestation of the call. He has been placed in North Texas region to serve the LORD's multi-cultural community.
Pastor Henry teaches a straight forward message in love that will give you the tools needed to receive some tangible results from the LORD, JESUS the CHRIST in your life.
About The Logo
The LORD gave Pastor Henry the vision for the church logo. The logo explains how we should live and grow as citizens of the Kingdom.
1) Crown of Thorns: We must confess our sins in which JESUS paid the penalty for that we may be cleansed of all unrighteousness. JESUS main instruction to HIS people after salvation is to go and sin no more. (St John 8:11) In order to not sin anymore, there must be a renewing of the mind. (Philippians 2:5) We have to change the way we currently think.
2) The Bible: The renewal process takes place when we study and apply the Word of GD. We must know what sin is in order to stop practicing it. Walking with CHRIST is a maturing process. "But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of GD, even to them that BELIEVE on HIS name." (St John 1:12) HE has given us the power but we must do our part.
3) Kingdom Crown: The Kingdom Crown is worn by citizens of the Kingdom. "Now the GD of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the HOLY GHOST." (Romans 15:13) We are to walk in the spirit (Romans 8:4), loving GD with all of our heart, mind and soul; and loving our neighbors as ourselves. (Matthew 22:37-39) In order to do these things we must have the power of the HOLY GHOST.

Local Vision
The North Texas region is a unique area. It is a multi-cultural melting pot in which the LORD is moving to unite the body of CHRIST.
The judgement of the LORD has been released on this nation and it is evident in the evil acts of today's crimes, the weather patterns, sickness and disease.
North Texas is a City of Refuge that will not experience the judgement that has been released on this nation. However, it is based on the churches ability to unite and become one in the faith. Being on one accord through prayer and supplication, North Texas will be able to maintain the hedge of protection that s already in place. If you look at the history of the storms that pass through this area, they go around the six-cities outlined.
This is not about race but about truth, justice, love, mercy, righteousness and walking in humility before our GD. (Micah 6:8)
